Residential Proximity to Methyl Bromide Use and Birth Outcomes in an Agricultural Population in California. Residential proximity to methyl bromide use during the second trimester was associated with markers of restricted fetal growth in this study, based on CHAMACOS cohort data.

Risk of Cancer Among Workers Exposed to Trichloroethylene: Analysis of Three Nordic Cohort Studies. Analysis of a pooled cohort of 5553 workers with individual documented exposure to TCE in Finland, Sweden, and Denmark showed elevated risk of liver cancer. The cohort was not large enough to yield conclusions about low-incidence cancers.

Prenatal exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) may influence birth weight among infants in a Swedish cohort with background exposure: a cross-sectional study. These results indicate that prenatal exposure to background levels of di-ortho PCBs may be associated with higher birth weight and PBDE exposure with lower birth weight. The authors speculate that even small PCB- and PBDE-induced shifts in the distribution of birth weight may be influencing health in populations with background exposure.

Urine Bisphenol-A Level in Relation to Obesity and Overweight in School-Age Children. A dose-response relationship between BPA exposure and childhood obesity was observed in females but not males, consistent with findings from experimental studies and previous epidemiological research.

Prenatal urinary phthalate metabolites levels and neurodevelopment in children at two and three years of age. This study demonstrates that sex plays a role of an effect modifier in the association between prenatal phthalate exposure and neurodevelopment.
